What's not included

Honest answers up front:

  • Cosmetic treatment like whitening and veneers is not discounted under Smile Plan. (Implants and Invisalign do get a 5% member discount.)
  • Deep cleanings and ongoing gum care are billed at our standard rates.
  • Emergency visits (a quick exam for tooth pain or other urgent issues) are billed separately.
  • Treatment by outside specialists is not covered.
  • This is not insurance and cannot be combined with insurance.

How enrollment works

  1. Enroll in person at the office or by phone.
  2. Pay your annual fee.
  3. Use your benefits for one full year from your enrollment date.
  4. Renew each year to continue.

Smile Plan FAQs

Is Smile Plan dental insurance?

No. Smile Plan is a membership program we offer directly. It's not insurance, but it makes care more affordable for patients without coverage.

Can I add my child to my Family Plan after I sign up?

Family members can only be added at the time of your initial enrollment or on your annual renewal date.

Is the annual fee refundable?

No. Smile Plan fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Can I use Smile Plan with my insurance?

No. Smile Plan cannot be combined with dental insurance or any other dental coverage.

What if I need a deep cleaning instead of a routine cleaning?

If you're diagnosed with gum disease and need a deep cleaning or ongoing gum care, those visits are billed at our standard rates and are not included in the plan.
