Smile Dental Center has been Waipahu's family dentistry for 25 years. We're growing into a second floor of new operatories, and we're looking for the right people to grow with us. What we care about most: the right attitude.

We've been serving Waipahu and West Oahu for a quarter century. We're not a startup, not a corporate chain. Just a steady, family-owned practice with deep roots in this community.
In-house denture lab. Dedicated oral surgeon. Gold-level Invisalign provider. Digital X-rays, cloud practice management. You'll work alongside dentists who keep up with the best modern practices.
A whole new second floor of operatories is opening soon. That means more team members, more patients, more career growth, and more variety in the cases you'll see.
Seven dentists, one welcoming front desk, hygienists who know their patients by name. You won't be a number on a corporate org chart. We work as a team and have each other's backs.
Family-owned means we get it. Real schedules, real flexibility, evenings and weekends off (we're Mon-Fri only). You can have a career here without sacrificing the rest of your life.
Our team speaks English, Tagalog, Kapampangan, Ilocano, Japanese, and Vietnamese. If you speak one of these, you'll connect with patients in a way that matters. (Not required, just appreciated.)
What we look for
We hire for attitude first. For most of our roles, you don't need a background in dentistry. If you're warm, dependable, eager to learn, and good with people, we'll teach you the rest. We've grown great team members from people who'd never set foot in a dental office.
The exceptions are the clinical roles that require licensure (dentists, hygienists, and certain specialty roles). For those, we look for the same human qualities plus the proper credentials.
Chairside support, sterilization, X-rays, patient comfort. We'll train the right person, no prior dental experience required.
Patient scheduling, calls, ADIT texting, insurance verification, the welcoming face of the practice. No dental experience required, warmth required.
Cleanings, periodontal care, patient education. Active Hawaii hygiene license required. Friendly chair-side manner is everything.
General practice with room to lean into your specialty interest (cosmetic, Invisalign, restorative). Active Hawaii dental license required. We make space for the dentistry you love.
